Hazel, 5 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

This gorgeous girl and her wild hair stole my heart! Hazel was such a sweetheart during her newborn session. We styled her photos with floral accents, as well as lace and pearls. Hazel gave me a bit of baby fever because she was absolutely perfect! Here are some of my favorite images from our time together:

Liam, 18 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer

I met little Liam’s parents during their maternity session (check out those photos here!), so I was excited to snuggle him when he arrived. His session was a Swaddled Session, so he was wrapped the entire time- I just changed him out of different props and swaddles. These newborn sessions are typically quicker because they only involve baby and because baby stays wrapped, so they’re usually pretty cozy and sleepy.

Lennox, 4 weeks new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

Lennox is such a pretty little lady who stared me down with those big brown eyes before she gave up and took a little nap. One of the most frequent questions I get is “what if my baby doesn’t sleep?” I’ve been doing this for almost nine years, which means I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve and I’m often called a “baby whisperer” by clients, so the vast majority of babies eventually fall asleep even if they fight it at first. However, if baby does stay awake for awhile, we can usually get some sweet eye contact moments like the one below.

Olivia, 8 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer

This little girl was absolute perfection! Olivia was such a cutie, with a head full of hair and the sweetest, tiny features. I styled her session using pink and white, as well as floral and pearl elements. She slept almost the entire time and even gave me a few milk drunk smiles.

I will never, ever get tired of this job 🥰💕 I feel so grateful to have clients who trust me with their most precious gift.

Noah, 8 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer

I was so excited to meet baby Noah after photographing a maternity session for his family (check out those sweet photos here!). He has two adorable big sisters and the kindest parents, so I do believe he is a very lucky little guy.

He was born just before Valentine’s Day, so of course we incorporated a red festive outfit. We also used lots of greens, as well as neutrals and blues. His family chose a Classic Newborn package, so we finished the session with family photos and the girls were so happy to show off their new brother!
