I met little Liam’s parents during their maternity session (check out those photos here!), so I was excited to snuggle him when he arrived. His session was a Swaddled Session, so he was wrapped the entire time- I just changed him out of different props and swaddles. These newborn sessions are typically quicker because they only involve baby and because baby stays wrapped, so they’re usually pretty cozy and sleepy.
Ellis, 11 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer
Ellis was all snuggled and cozy during his swaddled newborn session. These short and sweet sessions feature only wrapped poses, mostly in props or on soft blankets. His mama requested neutral colors, so we incorporated lots of brown, gray, and cream tones. Ellis was such a little sweetheart and at the end of the session, he woke up and stared right into my soul ❤️
Antonia, 9 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer
Antonia’s first ever photoshoot was a short and sweet swaddled newborn session! These sessions consist of wrapped only images, so baby is usually super sleepy and relaxed the entire time. For Antonia, we incorporated feminine elements, such as florals, lace, and ruffles, as well as s festive holiday set up. She was an adorable little lady and just simply perfection 💓
Nelle, 10 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer
Swaddled newborn sessions, like Nelle’s, are short and sweet featuring adorable wrapped poses. Her mama gave me free reign on colors, so I included some yellow, which is rarely chosen, as well as classic pinks and purples. She snoozed like an angel and we swapped out props and wraps without her even blinking!
Audra, 18 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer
Audra was such a gorgeous girl! Her parents chose shades of purple and mauve and I do believe those are her colors! Audra’s session was a Swaddled Newborn Session, which keeps baby wrapped, so they’re nice and cozy. These quicker sessions usually only last about an hour and consist of swaddled poses in various props.
