Me’Lani’s newborn session featured a lot of YELLOW, which is one of my favorite colors for newborns, yet not often chosen by parents. I feel like it fit her perfectly because she was such a sweet little ray of sunshine while I was working with her. She slept most of her session, but even when she was awake, she was chill and even gave me some amazing eye contact. I wanted to snuggle her all day!
Addie | Wilmington Maternity Photographer
Addie and Aaron were such kind and lovely soon-to-be-parents! They were naturals in front of the camera, with Addie and her gorgeous baby bump being the primary focus. We did their maternity session at Fort Fisher, so we got the beautiful trees in the background as well as the landmark rocks/coastline. Addie is just a stunning mama and I couldn’t wait to meet their sweet baby boy!
Jensen, 18 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer
Baby Jensen was a tiny, little nugget who absolutely rocked his newborn session! He’s a “rainbow baby” (a baby born after miscarriage or infant loss), so we incorporated some items and created a special image for his parents. We also used lots of blues and greens as requested by mom and dad. Jensen had the most precious features, such as his gorgeous hair and sweet cheeks, and I’m so honored to have photographed him!
R. Family | Bald Head Island Photographer
When the patriarch of the R. family reached out to schedule updated family portraits, I knew they would be such a fun bunch to photograph! Their family consists of three adult children and their spouses, as well as two really adorable pups.
They were vacationing on Bald Head Island, which is one of my absolute favorite locations! First, we took some shots at a grassy park area with Old Baldy in the distance and then we headed over to the beach for some relaxed portraits.
Holly, 16 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer
Holly was born just before Christmas, hence her beautiful name. Of course, we had to include some holiday props in her session and her parents wore coordinated, festive colors for their family portraits in the nursery. The remainder of her session was accented by soft pinks, cream, and floral. We even caught a sweet smile when I first wrapped and started photographing Holly.
Newborn sessions are always such a special time and I’m continually honored to be chosen to capture these moments. Here are some of my favorite images of Holly:
