Grady, 10 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

One of my favorite aspects of being a newborn/family photographer is getting to see families year after year or baby after baby. I met this sweet family in 2019 after the birth of their daughter, Aubrey (check out her newborn session here). Aubrey is now a gorgeous little girl who is so proud of her little brother, Grady!

Grady’s newborn session featured lots of blues, greens, and neutrals, as well as some beautiful family portraits in his nursery. Here are some of my favorites from his session:

H. Family | Oak Island Photographer

This gorgeous extended family contacted me for updated portraits while they were all vacationing on Oak Island together. The H. family consisted of grandparents with their three adult children and their families, including five grandchildren under 10 years old. They were such a blast to work with and so photogenic! They also a wonderful job coordinating their outfits- I typically suggest choosing a few colors that complement each other, without being super matchy, and I think they nailed it!

As with all my extended family sessions, we got whole group photos as well as each individual family, grandparents with grandchildren, sibling shots, etc ❤️

L. Family | Wilmington Maternity Photographer

One of my favorite locations for outdoor sessions is Belville Riverwalk Park, so I was excited when the L. family decided on this park for their maternity session. They were expecting a sweet baby boy to add to their beautiful family! Mama wore a gorgeous dress which showcased her adorable baby bump (and coordinated with big sister’s cute outfit).

I love maternity sessions that feature authentic connection between parents and sibling(s). This session was no exception and the excitement and anticipation of a new baby just melted my heart. I couldn’t wait to meet and snuggle little brother a few weeks later!

Leanna, 12 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer

Leanna’s newborn session was absolutely adorable! We incorporated lots of floral elements and feminine vibes, which were perfect for this sweet girl. However, one of my favorite images from this session is the one using her mama’s wedding veil 💕 Check out that photo and more below:

Winnie, 15 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

I’ve always loved the name Winnie, so I was excited to finally photograph a beautiful baby girl with that name! Winnie was such a sweetheart, snoozing through her entire session. Her mama requested blues, greens, and yellows, so it was fun to get to use some colors that can be rarely used for girls. We also included some floral accents in the patterns of wraps and outfits, as well as headbands.

We also did some family photos in Winnie’s beautiful nursery with her parents. I feel like the love is just palpable in these images ❤️
