Madison, 4 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer

I was so excited to photograph sweet Madison because I met her family a few years ago when I did her sister’s newborn session (check out her session here!). One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to watch families grow through the years and having the honor of being one of the first non-family visitors to meet a new baby!

We used similar color palettes of neutrals and pinks/purples for both girls. And now that Callie is so grown up, she was all smiles to take on her role as big sister. Scroll down and check out the family photos that just melt my heart!

Maeve, 10 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

Miss Maeve was such a precious girl during her newborn session! I photographed her big brother Max a few years ago (check out his session here), so I was excited to meet the newest addition. Max was definitely a proud big brother and thrilled to show off his baby sister. And of course, we included the fur babies again ❤️ We also incorporated lots of feminine, girly elements such as florals, pinks, and purples.

Jack, 17 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

Jack was just the cutest little nugget with squishy cheeks and perfect hair! I was so excited to meet him since I photographed his parents during their maternity session. His mama requested blues and greens for his classic newborn session- this option includes both wrapped and unwrapped poses, as well as family shots. We even incorporated a handmade blanket crocheted by a family member ❤️

Ellis, 11 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer

Ellis was all snuggled and cozy during his swaddled newborn session. These short and sweet sessions feature only wrapped poses, mostly in props or on soft blankets. His mama requested neutral colors, so we incorporated lots of brown, gray, and cream tones. Ellis was such a little sweetheart and at the end of the session, he woke up and stared right into my soul ❤️

Owen, 12 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer

This cutie is my nephew (who is now a full grown toddler) and I’m just now getting to blogging his newborn session! The first thing you’ll notice about Owen is his gorgeous head full of red hair! All 4 of my babies were pretty much bald until they were 2 years old, so I was OBSESSED with his hair! Also, he was Aunt Jen’s model for several days, so I got lots and lots of photos, of course.

For all of my clients, I love incorporating personal elements into their newborn sessions. Sometimes, that means using items like a handmade blanket or family heirloom. Other times, we add personal touches like Owen’s Ramses stuffy (my sister is a UNC alum) and his cute fishing setup (his dad and grandpa are avid fisherman).

I may be biased, but I do think Owen is one of the most adorable babies ever 🩵
