Lifestyle newborn photography is such a beautiful way to capture this fleeting time in your family! Will’s parents chose a lifestyle session, which focuses on connection and simple shots of baby with mom and dad. Will definitely showed us some personality, even at less than 2 weeks old (check out some cute facial expressions below!). We also included the family’s fur baby in the fun 😍
F. Family | Oak Island NC Photographer
Oak Island is my hometown, so I love being able to photograph beautiful families vacationing there. The F. family consisted of four adult siblings and parents, as well as all the grandchildren. It was a bit windy for our session, but otherwise, perfect weather. We had the most gorgeous sunset at the end of the evening.
As with all extended family sessions, I got shots of the whole group, each individual family, grandparents with grandchildren, and cousins together…basically any and every grouping requested! Some photos were near the water and some were taken at the dunes, but they were all absolute perfection 😍

This was one of the best cake smashes ever! Sweet Benjamin’s mama requested a simple Mickey Mouse theme with blue/white accents. It turned out so adorable (those suspenders and ears 😍)and Benjamin definitely enjoyed his cake!

This tiny nugget is family (a cousin’s baby) and just the sweetest little boy. I was so excited to meet Matthew and catch up with his parents. We got lots of shots of him all snuggled up and posed, as well as family lifestyle photos in the nursery. Getting to photograph these new babies in the first few weeks of their lives is such an honor and one I don’t take for granted 💙
