This sweet family of four visited Oak Island and I had the honor of photographing them during their vacation. The two girls and their parents were absolutely beautiful and so sweet! Our session took place at the Oak Island Pier, which is a wonderful location, especially at golden hour (the hour before sunset, when there’s nice golden light) ☀️ We got some photos of all four of them, as well as the girls with mom/dad, sisters together, and then individual shots of each girl ❤️
G. Family | Wilmington NC Maternity Photographer
This gorgeous maternity session took place at the beautiful New Hanover Arboretum, one of my favorite locations. The G. family was expecting a new baby girl to arrive in their family 💕 Big sister was so excited to run around the grounds of the arboretum and we captured some sweet photos of this lovely family, as well as mama’s bump, of course! I love including partners and siblings in maternity sessions because it just adds to the joy of this new chapter.
Charlie, 10 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer
This sweet girl is so loved and cherished by her parents and I could feel the love as soon as I met them all! Little Charlie was an absolute doll, complete with chubby cheeks and the most precious little fingers and toes.
Charlie’s parents chose a Classic Newborn Session, meaning both posed baby-only shots and family photos were included in their session. I always encourage families to incorporate anything special or personal into their newborn sessions. We got some shots of Charlie in her mama’s wedding veil, which just melted my heart 💕
D. Family | Carolina Beach Photographer
I had such a wonderful time during my session with this beautiful family on Carolina Beach! The kids were absolutely gorgeous and they had the sweetest, fun parents. With young children, sometimes we play for a bit while they warm up (and those are often the very best shots!).

Lachlan, 14 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer
Lachlan reminded me so much of his big brother, Tilman, who I photographed a few years ago (check out Tilman’s newborn session here). I love getting to see babies again as they grow up and watch families grow as well- one of my favorite parts of my job!
Lachlan’s gorgeous, dark hair and sweet back rolls were perfect details in his first photo session. He slept like a little angel and melted my heart. Mom wanted to recreate some shots from Tilman’s session to have matching photos and that’s always so fun! We also got some sweet lifestyle photos of this precious new family of four!
