Raegan is such an absolutely beautiful baby girl! Her parents gave me all the creative freedom to choose colors, props, etc. for her session. We had some traditional pink and purple for this gorgeous girl, but I also added some blue because it’s rarely chosen for newborn girls and I absolutely love it!
Some of my favorite photos from her newborn session are below. I love images that showcase her adorable features like her sweet cheeks, tiny toes, and even a couple of smiles.
I met this adorable family on Holden Beach during their family vacation! I see lots of extended families, but this one was exciting because both sets of grandparents were there and everyone was all together. Hugo was the cutest little boy and he was so happy to be on the beach with his family!
We had the most gorgeous summer weather during golden hour, taking some out near the water and some by the dunes. We also got some group shots with both sets of grandparents as well as the little man with mom and dad!
Grayson was one of the most sleepy, relaxed babies ever! He snoozed through almost his entire session with a few snack breaks. We used lots of blues and neutrals as well as incorporating different textures.
One of my favorite parts of in-home newborn sessions is using the nursery or other parts of the home for family shots. Grayson had a gorgeous, neutral nursery that photographed absolutely beautifully. His mama and daddy are clearly smitten by their little boy.
I have known Ella’s mama since we were kids (Ella’s aunt and I are BFFs), so I was honored to photograph her baby girl! She wanted lots of purple and pinks for her session, so I happily obliged. Pretty girl had the most adorable little features and I’m so happy I could capture them for this special family in my life. I even caught a couple smiles, which is chef’s kiss, perfection!
If you have any inkling of baby fever, LOOK AWAY, because this little guy will make you want a cute squish even more! Tilman was the sweetest nugget during our session. Just look at those cheeks!!
His mama requested neutrals and light blues, which he obviously rocked. And dad also incorporated his old rocking horse from his childhood (I’m sure the grandparents loved it!).
Using heirloom or special personalized items is always welcomed during newborn sessions! I have a large collection of props and outfits, but using a few of your own items makes the session even better.
