S. Family | Bald Head Island Family Photography

This fun group came to beautiful Bald Head Island for their extended family vacation. BHI is one of my favorite local beaches because of how quiet and secluded it is, in comparison to most other beach towns in the area.

We met at an access near the marina which features the Old Baldy Lighthouse in the background, which is always a favorite. The S. Family also did such a wonderful job coordinating their clothing choices! I typically suggest choosing 3-4 complimentary colors and coordinating everyone’s outfits without being completely matchy.

Here are some of my favorites from this sweet family:

Evelyn, 12 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

Evelyn absolutely rocked her newborn session! Her mama requested a sage and dusty rose color palette. I adore baby girls in green, so I had so much fun styling this session! We also incorporated lots of feminine elements such as lace and floral. Evelyn slept through all of her outfit changes, just waking up to eat once or twice.

T. Family | Wilmington Maternity Photographer

Maternity beach sessions are some of my all time favorites! The excitement and anticipation mixed with sand and salty air is perfection. Plus, when you have a family as sweet and gorgeous as this, it makes it even better! We met on Topsail Beach for their maternity/family session, including twin big sisters (who were absolutely precious!).

P. Family | Holden Beach Photographer

Holden Beach is such a beautiful, family friendly location for your vacation! I met the P. family during their trip to Holden Beach and I’m so glad I did! They were such a fun, sweet, and gorgeous group to work with. Of course, the littlest guy was the star of the show (and obvious that he was the first/only grandchild!).

Extended family sessions are so special and I’m always grateful to be chosen to capture these memories ❤️

Madison, 4 days new | Wilmington Newborn Photographer

I was so excited to photograph sweet Madison because I met her family a few years ago when I did her sister’s newborn session (check out her session here!). One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to watch families grow through the years and having the honor of being one of the first non-family visitors to meet a new baby!

We used similar color palettes of neutrals and pinks/purples for both girls. And now that Callie is so grown up, she was all smiles to take on her role as big sister. Scroll down and check out the family photos that just melt my heart!
