Theo, 11 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

I’m betting that little man would make anyone’s baby fever go crazy! Theo was the most perfect baby, with his beautiful complexion and chubby cheeks. And he slept wonderfully throughout his newborn session! Theo’s mom requested neutral colors, so the palette for his portraits consisted of shades of tan, gray, and white, with pops of blue. He also has an adorable big sister, who was so proud of her new baby! Before setting up for the posed portion of the session, we created some relaxed family shots out on the gorgeous covered porch (I seriously NEED their swing!). I love the simplicity of a baby in just a diaper on a warm summer morning.

Aubriella, 10 days new | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

This was such a fun newborn session because Aubriella is the FIFTH baby in her family and they're ALL girls! Her mom gave me free reign while styling her portraits, so we went with blues, purples, and floral. She immediately melted my heart with her head full of hair and sweet baby cheeks! Plus, she slept like a dream for me and barely made a peep! Here are some of my favorites from her session:

F. Family | Wrightsville Beach NC Family Photographer

The F. family reached out before their Wrightsville Beach vacation because the last time they had a family portrait session, their kids were toddlers. Now, they're all teenagers! I have to say, it was a nice change of pace! I tend to photograph lots of young children, which requires a great deal of energy, but these three teens made it so easy. They also ordered gorgeous prints from their session, so I'm glad they'll be able to remember their beach vacation (and their family at this stage of life) for years to come!

B. Family | Carolina Beach NC Family Photographer

I met the B. Family while they were vacationing on Carolina Beach in June. A set of grandparents, their daughters and sons-in-law, and adorable grandsons all came together for a week at the beach! They seriously rocked the color coordination with their gorgeous navy and coral outfits (very bright and beachy!). We were rained out at the beginning of the week, but the weather finally decided to cooperate and the images truly reflect the sweet dynamic of this family and the time they were able to spend together. Of course, as you can imagine, those two gorgeous little boys were the center of attention!

Jameson | Wilmington NC Newborn Photographer

I was so excited for this little guy to come into the world! His mama is one of my closest friends and I couldn't wait to see her with her very own baby boy. It's been such a wonderful experience helping her navigate the early days of motherhood, while getting some sweet baby snuggles (and hopefully I haven't scared her too much with my three small kiddos through the years!). She pretty much gave me free reign with Jameson's newborn portraits and he was seriously one of THE BEST sleeping babies I've EVER photographed! Literally, a dream baby! He slept for hours while I posed him, only waking for a quick snack every so often. The images of Jameson and his parents are ridiculously adorable as well, especially the ones of dad and baby in matching Superman outfits!

I've also included a few of Jameson at about 24 hours old during his Fresh 48 hospital session. He was more alert because of all the newborn tests that morning and those eyes totally melted my heart (and I left the hospital with a *tiny* bit of baby fever!).
